Following on the successful SACPM meetings since 2004, the 9th South African Conference on Photonic Materials 2023 (SACPM 2023) will be held from 8 – 12 May 2023 in Skukuza, Kruger National Park. This conference is hosted by the Division for Physics of Condensed Matter and the Applied Physics Division of the South African Institute of Physics.
The purpose of the conference is to bring together local and international scientists who are working on various issues related to photonic materials.
We aim to invite at least a dozen expert scientists (most from abroad) to participate in the conference and share their knowledge.
Ample time will be available for the discussion of research results and for game drives. As the number of delegates will be limited, it is hoped that the conference will encourage much interaction, especially between local and international delegates.
