Fees

All fees will be charged in South African Rands (ZAR). To obtain the current exchange rates and to convert the ZAR amounts into your own currency [Euros (€), GBP (£), USD ($), etc.] consult a currency convertor.

Upon registration, delegates will receive an invoice issued by SAIP. Payments can be made by means of direct deposit into the SAIP account (delegate to pay all fees) or by credit card via the PayFast platform (Visa or MasterCard). Please note that no link to PayFast will appear on the website. The conference secretary will set up a link which will be sent to you directly from PayFast.

Full Delegate Includes admittance to all scientific sessions and conference material		R 8 500	R 9 500

Full time student and post-doctoral delegates For bona fide (i.e. full time) students as well as post-doctoral delegates. To qualify for this fee we will need a declaration from the supervisor regarding the status of the student		R 6 000	R 6 800
Accompanying person Includes refreshments during tea breaks at conference centre, lunch for 4 days, all functions and conference gifts		R 2 800	R 2 800
Accommodation This includes a Community levy of 1% on accommodation, breakfast from Tuesday to Friday, dinner (in restaurant or functions) from Monday to Thursday, refreshments during conference breaks, lunch on Tuesday to Thursday.
Price per person for the nights of 8, 9, 10 and 11 May 2023, 3 meals per day from dinner 8 May to breakfast 12 May included.
Single occupancy		R 7 500
Sharing with 1 person	Please note that the maximum number of people per room is 3. Sharing accommodation will only be allowed if you indicated who you would like to share with.	R 4 200

Transport (return) Covers return transport from either O R Tambo International Airport, Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or Skukuza Airport to Skukuza, as well as 2 daily excursions for game viewing in the Kruger National Park form Tuesday to Thursday

Conservation fees ONLY for accompanying persons No conservation levies are charged for conference delegates, but accompanying people have to pay according to the following fee structure

Wild Card holders		No charge if Wild Card number is supplied in advance

The above fees are payable in full on or before 31 January 2023 (for early bird) or 28 February 2023 (final date).

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registration cancellations must be notified in writing by email to the conference secretary, Thereza Botha (Email: thereza@technoscene.co.za).

Cancellation before or on 15 February 2023: 50% refund
Cancellation after 15 February 2023: no refund and unpaid invoice will be payable.
