We present an exemplary lesson of astronomical nomenclature of the Setswana language of Southern Africa to demonstrate its potential benefits as a teaching tool in (astro)physics education. We will discuss the implications of this presentation in (1) broadening access and understanding of scientific concepts, (2) exposing a relatively unpublicized astronomical interest of the Batswana people and discuss its benefit, and (3) distinguish between folklore and physical meaning from such nomenclature.
