High spin states in 192Tl are studied using gamma spectroscopy techniques with the AFRODITE array at iThemba LABS. More than 50 new transitions were found and placed in the level scheme. The rotational bands in 192Tl were compared to similar bands in the neighbouring nuclei. The observations are understood in the framework of the particle-rotor model. Measurements of the spins and parities of the new states are in progress. A possible chiral partner to the yrast π〖1h〗(9⁄2)⨂ν〖1i〗(13⁄2) band was searched for but was not observed in the current data set.
