The Conference is now over.
There are several outcomes from the Conference

Installation of the Steering Committee for the African Light Source
- Nominations for positions on the SC of the AfLS were solicited via a web based submission system.
- The delegates decided to accept all nominations and to continue to accept nominations.
- Nominations can still be made here.
- The SC will meet by teleconference and use electronic means to determine its structures.
