CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Rhodes University will host the SAIP2024 annual conference as an in-person face-to-face event from 01 – 05 July 2024. The SAIP annual conference is the prime annual gathering of the South African Physics community, including postgraduate students, which typically attracts over 400 scientific talks in seven parallel sessions. In addition to sessions on research, the conference also has sessions on various aspects of physics for development such as physics in industry, physics education, outreach, teacher development, and the promotion of participation of women in physics.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

The SAIP 2024 will also publish conference proceedings. The proceedings of the SAIP 2024 conference will be peer-reviewed and produced in accordance with the DHET guidelines for recognition at the level of 0.5 units per article. Only papers that are submitted strictly on or before 23:59 SAST on 30 August 2024 will be considered for publication. The guidelines for authors, the application procedure for recognition of your article, and other details relating to the proceedings will be available on the conference website.
