DESCRIPTION:\n    This conference will be co-hosted by the South African I
 nstitute of Physics (SAIP) and the School of Physics\, University of the W
 itwatersrand (WITS) jointly with The International Commission on Physics E
 ducation (C14) of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUP
 AP). The conference will be held at the Misty Hills Hotel and Conference 
 Centre\, Johannesburg located close to the Cradle of Humankind\, a World H
 eritage Site and from the famous Pilanesberg National Park. \n\n     \n\
 n    The main objective of the International Conference on Physics Educati
 on is to attract physics educators\, postgraduate students\, teachers\, re
 searchers and policy makers working in physics educational research and in
  physics education. Participants are expected from schools\, colleges\, un
 iversities and governments from all parts of the world. Teacher developmen
 t and postgraduate students will be key areas of the conference. The confe
 rence will enable participants to share and exchange scientific informatio
 n views and experiences on important issues in Physics  Education.\n    
  \n\n    The main theme of the conference is: "Physics Education for Deve
 lopment: a focus on context". A number of subthemes will be finalised in d
 ue course. The scientific program will comprise of a diverse range of inte
 rnational high-level presentations consisting of plenary talks\, parallel 
 oral and poster sessions\, teacher workshops/symposia and sessions for Wom
 en in Physics.\n\n    \n                                  
                \n    CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS\n     \n\n    The pro
 ceedings of the International Conference on Physics Education (ICPE2018) w
 ill be published in the Open Access Journal of Physics: Conference Series 
 (JPCS)\, which is part of IOP Conference Series. All papers published in I
 OP Conference Series are fully citable and upon publication will be free t
 o download in perpetuity. \n     \n\n    Author Guidelines\, Submission
