 vanced Energy Materials\n\n\nStatement about ASNEAM Workshop Postponement
  \n\n\n	After thorough consideration\, due to the pandemic COVID-19 situa
 tion\, the ASNEAM Committee has decided to migrate the workshop\, to an on
 line event that will take place on 6th and 7th October 2021. \n	Online joi
 ning details for the event will follow shortly.\n	We are still taking in a
 bstracts\, which we will review for online talks\, just as we would for a 
 normal conference. \n	Details on the ASNEAM Research Meeting \n\n\n\nThe
  aim of ASNAEM is to foster the development of skilled synchrotron users i
 n the sub-sahara region and to build lasting partnerships with the respect
 ive beneficiaries. This is with the hope that when the first synchrotron f
 acility is built in Africa\, there will be a diverse local skilled user co
 mmunity capable and ready to utilse the facility. This project is funded b
 y the UK Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) initiative.\n\nThe worksho
 p aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration init
 iatives focussed on the use of synchrotron x-rays to study advanced energy
  materials. ASNAEM will enable a diverse local community that is well prep
 ared to utilise the first African Light Source (AfLS).\n​\nTopics includ
 e:\n\n\n	Energy materials characterisation\n	Energy device design and fabr
 ication\n	Energy storage\n	Other related synchrotron techniques\n\n\n\nReg
 istration and Abstract\nRegistration is free\, however it is either by Inv
 itation or by Accepted Abstract.\nIf you would like to attend\, you should
  (using the menu options on the left)\n\n\n	Make sure you have credentials
  for the SAPI Indico System\n	(register if necessary - see Log In Button T
 op Right).\n	Log In to Indico and then Register for ASNEAM 2020\n	Log In t
 o Indico and then Submit an Abstract.\n\n\nWe will then assess your Abstra
 ct and revert.\n\nStudents Welcome\nStudents are especially welcome and en
 couraged to attend.\nPlease get in contact with the organisers via the ins
 tructions on the link on the left menu. We will do our best to arrange you
